Instructions for the Authors

The Authors are kindly requested to send one full page of text in English language.
By full page we mean all the text which can be included into one printed page of the periodical (one A4 word format page, meaning almost 5300 characters, blank spaces included).
Should there be also one table or one figure to be included into the page, then you will have to shorten the text till the 50%.
General format of the abstracts:
Title of the paper, first name (full name) and last name of the Authors, their relevant affiliations (Universities, Institutes…), text not exceeding the requested number of characters (or shortened if there is one table or one figure). The eventual References (please do not include more than 3 references).

The official acceptance of the abstract for the publication it implies that the Authors’ rights are automatically assigned to the publisher CIC Edizioni Internazionali, which owns the copyright on all the documents which are published in the periodical “Clinical Cases in Mineral and Bone Metabolism”.

Abstracts will have to be sent not later than: June 18th 2010.
No abstracts will be accepted by fax or direct e-mail.

Conflict of Interest
All presenting authors must indicate that they do or do not have a financial interest arrangement or direct affiliation with a corporate organisation or party that has a direct interest in the subject matter of the abstract (including manufacturer(s) of any product or provider(s) of any service.

Declaration of Conflicts of Interest
Authors participating in the MEN 2010 should submit written disclosures of all competing interests that may cause a conflict of interest. Where more than one author is listed (or co- presenting) a paper or workshop submission, the presenting author will disclose on behalf of all. Disclosures should be made prior to being involved in the Symposium. Reviewers of abstracts and workshops should disclose any competing interest to the committee chair or abstract coordinator respectively.

Declaration of conflicts of interest will be sent no later than: June 18th 2010.
